I have been reprimanded by my daughter and some of my faithful readers that I have labels for each of my children but Ashton. So, this entry is dedicated to my second daughter, my Drama Queen, Ashton.
Ashton is very active and loves being outdoors. She rides her bike with abandon all through the neighborhood. She likes to try new tricks on her bike, too. Ashton loves Hummers and recently found a bike in Toys R Us that was a yellow "Hummer" bike. It actually said Hummer on it. She about lost it and even took the pick up paper home with her. She taped it to a big jug in which she's saving for this $99 bike!
Ashton loves her little brothers, even though one of her favorite things is to aggravate them! Hey, what are sisters for, right? But, the boys do love her, as you can see. She's usually the one who gets down on the floor and plays with them.
With all Ashton's activity, there's bound to be mishaps. In January, 2006, Ashton broke her pinky finger while playing with some neighborhood kids. Ask her the story, she'll be happy to give you ALL the details. :-) Anyway, it couldn't be just a simple break, oh no, the bone was actually twisted, so she had to have surgery to have a pin inserted. She was in a cast for 4 weeks. The doctors put a little rubber ball/tip on the end of the pin, sticking out of her finger. She loved to twist the ball and tell people she was twisting the pin. It totally grossed them out and she'd just laaauugh. She's so bad. ;-)

One day Ashton spotted this Hummer limo at a neighbor's house and she was so excited I practically had to tie her down to keep her from running over there! lol She even made me get the camera and take a photo of it. She's too much!
I told you she was active....She saved her money this year so that when we went to the county fair she could do this bungee jump thing. She just loves this stuff! Of course, she hates roller coasters, but this bungee thing is too cool.

Ever since Ashton was little, she's had this habit of sleeping in miscellaneous locations. There have been many times that I go to check on her and can't find her. Even to this day, I'll occasionally find her sleeping in a different place than she started. Above, you can see her sleeping on the floor in the boys' room, where Levi made his way over to be next to her.

As you can see, Ashton is full of life and adventure and love. She is sensitive and tenderhearted and thoughtful. She is such a blessing to our family and I feel

Yippee!! Glad to see I shamed you into sharing more about Ashton with us! I loved (and Daniel was amazed by) the picture of her on her bike. That's great! And she told me how much she loves Hummers. I think that's so funny! Thanks for sharing!
