Five years ago today, I received a wonderful blessing. It was my son, Indy. We prayed for many years for Indy and I wasn't sure we would ever have more children. But, we were surprised to find out, in December of 2001 that we would indeed, be blessed with another child. Later we found out he was a boy. He has been such a joy for us all these years and I am so grateful we were chosen to be his parents. It was even a gift that my dad was able to see and hold Indy just a two weeks after he was born, before my dad died just a couple months later.
Indy is quiet, cooperative, kind, tender-hearted, all boy, sensitive, and responsible. He loves guns, army men (the plastic and real ones!), legos, and going to the woods with his dad. Today we celebrated his 5th birthday by having cake and ice cream, giving him presents, and going to the movies. He loved it all. He played with all his new stuff and was so excited when Daddy put his new training wheels on his "too big" bike.
Indy is so wonderful and we love him dearly.
