Here's this week's menu plan. We're leaving town on the weekend, so the plan is only til Thursday.

Monday - Pork Chops, squash casserole

Tuesday - Red Bandana Stew

Wednesday - Tender BBQ chicken, corn casserole

Thursday - Mediterranean Strata, onion roasted potatoes

PS-The hen, Bubba the Worm Slayer, died yesterday. We think she ended up having some internal injuries. She was actually doing relatively well on Saturday night. She flapped her wings and hopped onto Juan's arm, so we thought she'd be doing better yesterday. But, yesterday, she slept all day long. We thought maybe if we took her outside and let her get a little exercise in the yard or some sunshine that would help. But, when Savannah took her out, she didn't have the energy to stand or even lift her head. So, we put her back into the blanketed recycle bin to rest and unfortunately, about 6 last night, she died. It was a sad day for Savannah. Now she wants to get two more naked neck chickens. We'll see. Just say a little prayer for her. It's always hard to lose a pet. :-(
