Camping, Part 3

As promised, here's the pictures of some actual people on our camping trip. :-) So, what do we do while camping??


Here Indy is digging in the dirt. I'm not exactly sure why he's digging in the dirt, except that it's there. Levi is playing on the 4-wheeler, pretending to drive.

Here, Ashton was getting ready to give Levi a ride. Does he look relaxed or what?? lol
Somehow they managed to get all 4 of them on the 4-wheeler. That was a lot of fun for them. Later, Savannah took me for a ride (Talk about a lead foot! It's gonna be awhile til she is allowed to actually drive!!) No, seriously, she did well. Hey, I didn't fall off and she took me to some of the flowers I showed you on the last entry. I could get used to being chauffeured around! lol
And, this is what the grown-ups do during the afternoon. Isn't that nice?? Too bad it was so stinkin' hot! Otherwise, it would have been perfect! No phones to answer. No tv to watch. No laundry to do. No chores to do. How wonderful!!
And, this is what little boys do....get dirty. Gee, Indy is clean compared to Levi!
And, just how do we get dirty? Well, besides playing in the dirt or climbing on the buggy, of course, you know we must play with the fire! lol I know, some of you are thinking I should get the Bad Mom Award for this one. But, hey, they'll only get burned once, right?? lol No, seriously, we keep them away and watch them very closely. So, don't worry. They just like to throw stuff in and watch it burn. Hey, who doesn't?? lol
So, while we were hiking around, we ran across some coyote bones. Pretty cool, huh? It was almost a whole coyote, too. Savannah picked up the skull to show us. Just before we were leaving, Indy wanted to go get one of the bones, so the big kids walked him and Levi out there again.

Here they come back with their "treasures". Just look at Levi's face. Does he look excited or what?? He looks like Bam Bam carrying that bone!! lol

And, here we are getting ready to head back home. Don't we look like the Beverly Hillbillies?? lol In this picture, we have 1 adult, 5 kids, and two dogs on the buggy...and I hadn't even gotten on yet! Now, THAT's a bus!! Note the generator on the back shelf. We took it so we could run fans in the tents. Otherwise we'd just die of heat!

Well, as you can see, we had a ball. Don't you wish you could come, too?? You'll just have to wait til it's cooler, though, or you'll never go back!! lol
