On Sunday, we got up and had breakfast in our hotel's restaurant, where they also knew about our anniversary. As they seated us, they handed me a card that said "Happy Anniversary" and was signed by the servers and hostesses there, who are mostly from Africa. And, they had written wishes for us in their native languages and signed where they were from. It was very cool. After that, we visited the hotel gift shop then went over to Hollywood Studios (the old MGM). There we saw the Indiana Jones stunt show, rode Star Tours and the Rockin' Roller Coaster, and shopped lots more. Actually, I found a Minnie Mouse half apron that was priced relatively well, so I bought it. That and a Mickey shaped pancake mold. The kids will love it! I didn't see too many characters, but I did manage to snag one of the green army men.
Then I took this picture of Nicky by the Barrel of Monkeys for Indy. He likes those monkeys.
A little later we went over to Epcot.
I saw lots of characters there, but the lines were long or were closed already, so I only got Princess Aurora (Sleeping Beauty). The ones I didn't get signatures for, but did see, were Beauty & the Beast, Aladdin, Genie, & Jasmin, and Mickey, Minnie, & Pluto.
We ate dinner that night at a fancy restaurant in the Yacht & Beach Club Resort, which is just down the back path from Epcot. We didn't tell them about our anniversary either, but once again, it was on our little tab, so they knew. After we ate, they brought us this little chocolate mousse dessert.
I kept the little Mickey candy toppings to show the kids. This is a picture one of the park photographers took of us in Magic Kingdom, behind Minnie's house. I thought it was so good that I bought it. We bought the frame with money my mom gave us.
Well, as you can see, we had a great time. Maybe we can do it again in 5 years! lol

So, I'm sitting here almost green! What a trip! No really, I'm SO happy for you! But, can you share the details? Did you get a package or how did you do all that?! Or did you just save & save...and save & save?!
Mostly saved, but also some "God things". First (and biggest) we got the Florida reident discount rate for our room. That saved us a whopping total of $300 off the hotel bill. Then, a friend of a friend works at Disney and gets so many free tickets every year. She gave us 3 1-day park hopper passes, leaving us to buy only 1 ticket, which we did online (getting an online discount), again getting the FL resident discount. (Those tix were the God thing.) Plus, when I made the reservation, 6 months go, I had to pay for the first night hotel cost, as a deposit. When I made the Cinderella dinner reservation, I had to pay for it then, also. And, every month, I paid a little more on the hotel bill til it was paid off. So, once we actually went, I only had to pay for our Friday and Sunday night dinners and Sat, Sun, & Mon breakfasts. We only had snacks for lunch at the parks, so that was pretty cheap. We also had to pay for gas and spending money. Paying ahead is definitely the way to go. They take payments either over the phone or thru the mail anytime after you make the reservations. You coud make your reservations a year ahead and just make payments all year long. Plus, every few months, you can call and see if any pomotions or discounts have come up and they'll adjust your bill.
I loved reading about your trip. Everything you did was stuff I haven't ever done there so it was all new to me, especially the part about not having children with you, LOL. Sounds like a very nice trip.
Wow, looks like you had an awesome adventure! How cool is that? Disney was one of my favorite places growing up. It has been way too long since I've gone.
Glad you had such a great time.
