Ashton was none too happy that everyone's picture was on the blog except hers. So, here's one of Ashton at her first basketball game yesterday. She actually scored the first basket for her team! We were very proud of her.
Well, we've had a very busy few days. On Thursday, a neighbor kid found a lab puppy and, of course, brought her to us. So, you know Savannah was all too happy to take her in. Nicky says we can't keep her, but she's still here, so we're hoping he'll give in and let her stay. We'll see. Then, yesterday was Nicky and my 18th anniversary. We had a very nice evening out last night. Today was church, of course, and later we tooled around the house.
Tomorrow it's back to the grind, which in it's insanity, is such a blessing and I'm grateful for each day. In honor of our anniversary, today's verse: "Therefore a man shall leave his father and mother and be joined to his wife, and they shall become one flesh." Genesis 2:24
