We did a cool thing today. We went to the movies. Well, it wasn't just that we went to the movies, but that we went to a BRAND SPANKING NEW theater about 5 minutes from our house. That was pretty cool. We've been waiting and waiting for a couple years for them to finally get this new 16 theater center open and it's finally here. Friday is going to be the actual grand opening, but they're having a "dry" run this week, I guess to make sure everything is running smoothly. They're showing last years movies at $2 each and selling small popcorn and drinks for $1 each. How often can you go to a brand new theater and get snacks for $4?? Today was the actual first day of operation and since it was during the day, the place was practically empty. We saw "Happy Feet" and the boys loved it. The workers were all so friendly and cooperative. How nice. Let's see how friendly and cooperative they are after 3 months!! :-) Of course we won't set foot anyplace near there on Friday night, but today was really fun....and clean!!
