Wednesday, Day 5

So, Wednesday, we didn't get up quite so early. I let my kids (well, really just the girls!) sleep in just a little while. They were sooo happy! LOL We left the house around 10 and went to Sea World. It was not rainy or cold anymore. It became HOT and sunny, which was good for Sea World, but it sure did make the day exhausting. We didn't get to see everything, but we did get to see the penguins (which the boys really liked), the clydesdales, the whale show, dolphin show, seal show, and ray pool. We rode the two big coasters (well, some of us did!) and got to feed the sea lions. We even saw one sea lion who had just been born that morning. It was too cute! By about 5pm we were all wiped out, so we headed back to the house.

We had planned to eat out that night, but we decided the little guys were way too tired to be good in a restaurant for 1-2 hours, so we just picked up a take-out menu from Red Lobster on the way home. We fed the little guys mac and cheese and bathed them and sent them to bed. Everyone else ordered Red Lobster and went to bed fairly early. We had some poor service from RL and didn't even get our complete order after waiting the obligatory 45 minutes and another 20 min. at pick-up time. So, we called back and they had the rest of the order ready in 10 min. Unfortunately, after the over one hour long wait, all the food was cold. So, later that night, I emailed RL on their website and told them how displeased we were with the service and food. That was Wednesday night. More on this in another entry.

And that was day 5. "Then God said, 'Let the waters abound with an abundance of living creatures, and let birds fly above the earth across the face of the firmament of the heavens.' So God created great sea creatures and every living thing that moves, with which the waters abounded, according to their kind, and every winged bird according to its kind. And God saw that it was good. And God blessed them, saying, ' Be fruitful and multiply, and fill the waters in the seas, and let birds multiply on the earth.' So the evening and the morning were the fifth day." Genesis 1:20-23

(Hey, how cool is that that today's verse just "happens" to talk about filling the SEAS!!)
