Painting Party!

So last week we finally got a new washing machine, thanks to my dear friend, Linda. She's a lifesaver!! (Thank you, Linda!) And, what did we have leftover but the box it came in! If you have kids, you know the hundreds of things you can use the box for.

The first thing we did was do some fingerpainting for school.

Even Ashton got in on the fun. (She was supposed to be supervising, but it's more fun to paint!)

After we finished that, we figured we might as well paint the clubhouse (washing machine box).

If you think they were fun to clean up, you're right! Thankfully, I've learned to buy washable paint. (After they finished painting the box, they painted their dad's ice chest and ATV trailer...he doesn't know!) Once the box was finished being painted, it was a clubhouse and a racecar and a hideout....until it poured rain two days later and the paint was washed away. Not to mention the rain just destroyed the box. But, it was fun while it lasted!
