An Evening in the Everglades

A couple weeks ago the kids and I went out to the Everglades to see the sunset. It was so nice to just get away. We got to see a beautiful sunset and some fun animals. Check it out below. This was an afternoon thunderstorm we were racing. We were heading west and it was heading south. These storms are scary-looking, but fascinating...and cool!

I don't think you can see him very well, but there's an alligator in the water under the apples. You can see his eyeballs sticking out of the water.

Savannah caught this dragonfly and we convinced Indy to hold it. He wasn't too sure about it, since it was pretty big, but he finally realized it wouldn't bite him.

And, here is the sunset....Going, going, gone. Isn't God just the most creative artist?? These pictures are pretty, but they don't do a lick of justice to the real work of art that we saw.
