Our Pets

People are always amazed at all our animals, so I thought you'd like to see them.

These are our turtles (some are tortoises). The two big ones are both males and are named B.P. and B.P. Junior (we call him Junior). The seven small ones are: 2 Hermans tortoises, named Pooper (she pooped a lot as a baby) and Stuper (male); 2 star tortoises and they're the smallest ones, named Star 1 and Star 2 (I guess the kids got tired of thinking of names! lol); 2 Red Foot tortoises named Mama and Papa cause they're the biggest ones; and 1 box turtle, named Speedo, cause he's FAST.... (someone found him on the side of 95 and brought him to us). The two small turtles on the cloth are Ashton's water turtles named WWJD and Glades.

Our dogs are Elvis (the basset hound; he's old) and Roxy, a black lab mix who was found and brought to us as a puppy of about 3 mos.

The snakes are Savannah's ball pythons: The smaller one is Aramis (who used to be mine, but I gave him to Savannah) and the big one is Mickey, who was given to us by a friend who couldn't keep him any longer. (Do you see a pattern here? Don't get any ideas!! lol)

And, Savannah's precious kitty, Chaser, who is about 5 years old. She saved him from a panther kill in the Everglades. (It's a long story for another time.) Anyway, he's her baby, and I think her favorite of all.

Well, that's it for our animals. Feel free to ask questions, but don't plan on bringing us any animals you find! We're closed. LOL
